Wanderlei Silva Rips into Chael Sonnen

Chael Sonnen has been speaking his heart out about Brazil and the fighters from Brazil for almost two years now and in not exactly the most polite of manners and it seems that a certain Brazilian has taken everything a bit too personally and blasted the challenger to Anderson Silva’s UFC Middleweight title. Wanderlei Silva has never been as passive in his comments as his compatriot Anderson Silva who chose to let his fighting do the talking for him in the ring and now, the Brazilian has had enough of the trash talk of Sonnen.

As per the comments that Wanderlei made in a website, he believes that Sonnen is talking a bit too much and not concentrating on his fighting inside the Octagon of the UFC. He also believed that Anderson had done quite well considering the fact that he’s not fallen into the trap laid by Sonnen and kept quiet and Wanderlei Silva believes that Anderson is only keeping quiet but the frustration is brewing inside him and when he does get his hands on Chael Sonnen at UFC 148, he will take all his frustration out on him inside the UFC Octagon.

There is no love-loss between Sonnen and Wanderlei as well, who has been the victim of plenty of tirades on Twitter, the social networking site by the top contender for the UFC Middleweight championship. Speaking of his rivalry with Sonnen, Wanderlei asserted that if he managed to get his hands on him, he would kill him and be done with it quite easily.

However, it doesn’t seem that the warnings of Wanderlei Silva is having any impact on Sonnen who sat in a press conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and kept talking utter nonsense about Brazil and its natives and it seems that only a loss beating from Anderson Silva will be enough to shut him up.

SILVA WARNED BY BELFORT

By admin, February 6, 2012 10:08 pm

Belfort has recently given his word about his next challenge which is likely to be against Wanderlei Silva in the month of June. After his win against Anthony Johnson held last weekend, he has been quite ecstatic with his performance and is overjoyed to see that he has reached a stage where he has achieved quite a bit in the boxing career.

While talking to the reporter of the Brazilian news paper O Globo, he made sure to mention about his next fight with Wanderlei Silva as well and said he is quite excited about the match which is to be held immediately after the conclusion of the Brazilian show of the Ultimate Fighter which is a reality television show.

However, along with the excitement, he has also sent a warning and message to Wanderlei Silva saying that he does not have the power and energy to exchange punches back and needs to improve his game thoroughly so that he does not end up in another knock out in this upcoming game. This reference was made with respect to the game which was fought in the year 1998 when Belfort had steam rolled the Axe murderer’s future and dreams in a span of 44 seconds. Belfort however has been kind enough or one could put it as a warning, not to repeat the same mistakes again and again.

Wanderlei Silva should bring about new tactics and techniques to ensure that he brings about a new dimension to the game in a holistic approach and ensure that everything goes on in a smooth and organized manner. After all, Belfort is at his best at this point of time and needs real competition if he happens to be defeated by someone likes Wanderlei Silva.
